In 2017, the Cranberry Area Canine Partners Committee identified key improvements that they wished to bring to the Cranberry Rotary Dog Park. Consulting with Cranberry Township Parks and Recreation and the public, the CACP committee was able to focus on shade being a priority for the dog park.  A generous donation from the Woodbine HOA in the form of a Pavilion Shelter was added to the Large Dog Park in April of 2018.  In addition, Public Works cemented the opening 55ft of the Large Dog Park and eliminated the original millings that were in the opening.  This change was to improve the overall Dog Park, and to prevent further issues with drainage in the fountains and hosing inside the Dog Park.  Public Works added large "pools" for the dogs to stay cool during the summer.
